  • General Description:

    BIOFORS BEF-IBR 2.0 contains inactivated Bovine Ephemeral Fever Virus (BEFV) and inactivated Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis Virus (IBRV), with oil adjuvant added. The viruses were grown in culture medium and subsequently inactivated. The vaccine has a physical appearance as white homogenous emulsion.

Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis Virus DS strain

Indication for Use:

Prevention of Bovine Ephemeral Fever and Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis in bovine.

Method of Vaccination:

Administer 1 Dose (2 mL) to each calf via intramuscular injection twice. First vaccinate 1 Dose to each calf 4 months old or older, and subsequently vaccinate 1 Dose to each calf at 4 weeks after first vaccination. For continuous protection, a booster of 1 Dose should be administered every 6 months.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a dark place at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

Shelf Life:

2 years.

Precautions:

·Follow the instructions from and use under supervision by a veterinarian.

·Recover vaccine to room temperature before use.

·Protect vaccine from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

·Vaccine healthy bovine only.

Sterilize the vaccination equipment in boiling water for at least 15 minutes. Do not sterilize by other chemical based methods. Sterilize vaccination site by 70% alcohol.
